Dr. George Oji has committed the last 15+ years of his career to treating patients with spine issue from the neck, down to the tailbone. He treats everything from acute injuries like disc herniations and vertebral fractures, to chronic conditions such as degenerative disc disease and scoliosis.
Dr. Oji attended medical school at University of Iowa’s Carver College of Medicine where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society based on academic merits. Upon completing his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine, he pursued his fellowship training in spine surgery at Kaiser Permanente Northern California Regional Spine Center.
Dr. Oji understands that neck and low-back pathologies can become life-long issues, therefore he will stay engaged as long as necessary to ensure there are no acute changes on imaging studies or symptom progression over time.
In his free time, he can be found spending time with his family – skiing in the winter, and hiking, biking, and traveling in the summer – any excuse to be outdoors!
